SIPS - Structurally Insulated Panel System                                                   

This is our core product within Sparta Timber Limited. A ‘Structural Insulated Panel’ or SIP is a  product that combines a high performance rigid polyurethane foam insulation to oriented strand board (OSB). This combination creates a panel product that can be used in walls, roofs and floors which offers a highly thermally efficient product that is incredibly strong. The panel can be used in a wide variety of situations including houses, schools, offices and other commercial uses. Its versatility means it can easily be incorporated into other forms of construction so creating a ‘hybrid’ building. This allows the client to take advantage of the SIP as well as the other method of construction

Sparta timber can offer a service package that suits the individual client. Our extensive range of experience and knowledge can be used to provide an engineered design solution to your buildings needs. We offer design and technical support from an early stage, through the design process, the installation and well after completion of the SIP structure.

Glulam Structures and Beams                                                                    

We are able to provide a design, engineer, supply and erect service for all of your Glulam requirements. This could be in the form of Glulam feature trusses, beams, portal frames or other structural components. Our Glulam package can also offer the advantages of our Structural Insulated Panel. These two components combined can offer a beautiful and stunning interior together with a highly insulated shell, all sourced from a single point. Sparta Timber Limited can also incorporate architectural steel components, which can be fabricated from stainless steel or a powder coated finish. These could be bespoke designed flitch plates, brackets and tie bars. All of which, are designed, engineered and sourced from a single point. As they are all of a bespoke design they can be produced to meet your specific requirements and offer you the look you desire.

Timber Frame Panels                                                                               

 Over the last decade the timber frame market share has consistently grown as a method of construction. Sparta Timber can provide you with a design, engineer, supply and erect service for your timber frame needs. Our service is as bespoke as your design. Therefore we tailor the package to suit the client, not the other way round. Our advantage is that we are flexible enough to be take advantage of other materials, methods of construction and innovative thinking in order to provide a service and package that meets your requirements and fits within your budget

Roof Trusses & Engineered Joist Systems                                                    

Both items are common place in the construction industry. We at Sparta Timber Limited offer design solutions for the more ‘intricate’ and ‘challenging’ designs, when dealing with these building components. We can take advantage of our engineering team to ‘look outside the box’ when proposing a design solution. Sparta Timber can work with you in order for you to make real your design as it was intended.
